Emma (24) is having an eye problem. I got her in Sept/October and I don't remember her ever falling or getting banged around-usually that is Sam that is tipsy-turvy. Anyway, I was straightening up the dollie area and I noticed that her eyelash on her left eye, is loose and when ever she lies down or goes into a different position-I nearly have to pull it out.

Should I call to see if I should send her back? Is there an easy fix? Dolly hospital?

I also noticed that Our New Baby has developed silver eye in both eyes. It was given to me as a gift (or hand me down rather) so I really have no attachment to it-will they just change the head. It is actually even in both eyes, and unless you REALLY look at it close it-it looks normal.

    Help!

    *hugs Emma*

I'm sorry this happened. How long have you had Emma? If you are an adult collector and only display her, then this eye problem is a defect. E-mail american girl and let them know. They'll probably ask you to send a note that states the reason why she's there. Don't include any method of payment, and ask them to refund the shipping you payed when you send her to the hospital. (I think that's your best option, unless you want a new doll)

So sorry about the Our New Baby, too. I would just ask them to change the eyes, save the money and the history of the doll head. This is free since silver eye is a defect, just be sure to put a note not to replace the old head. There aren't very many our new babies out there any more, so I wouldn't have them replace the head. Good luck for both Emma and for Baby too! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
